Main Street Closure beginning July 8, 2025

Attention Zmolek Rd citizens:
Beginning tomorrow, July 8th, Ellis County Precinct 2 has tentative plans to begin roadwork on Main Street in the City of Alma beginning at 7 AM - 3 PM on the portion of Main Street behind the Loves Truck Stop. This will be HARD CLOSED to thru traffice from 7 AM - 3 PM and will remain closed each day therafter between these hours until roadwork is complete. The closure will not affect access to and from Loves but residence needing access to Zmolek Rd. via Main Street will be detoured to Secton House Road. Safety is our top priority for our road workers so please observe all warning signs and road closure barricades. We are sorry for the inconvenience this will cause for the next few days. The gravel part of Main St. will be reclaimed and chip sealed. Thank you for you patience!
