The City of Alma will be holding a Special Election to adopt or reject the reauthorization of the locals sales and use tax in the City of Alma at the rate of 0ne-fourth of one percent to concintinue providing revenue for maintenance and repair of muncipal streets. The tax expires on the fourth anniversary of the date of this election unless the imposition for the tax is reauthorized. Please come out and vote so we do not lose this. You can vote early at Ellis County Womans Building (Davis Hall) in Waxahachie or at the Ellis County Sub Courthouse in Ennis., all other places to vote early will be posted on the bulleting board in front of City Hall or you can go to https://www.co.ellis.tx.us/629/Upcoming-Elections. Early Voting days are April 22nd thru April 26th from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm., April 27th 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, and April 29th thru April 30th 7:00 amd -7:00 pm.
On Election Day of May 4, 2024 you will be able to vote at Alma City Hall from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
